TRC Companies, the global consulting, engineering, program, and construction management firm based in the U.S., and Germany-based M3E, a mobility solutions and energy infrastructure solutions provider, have announced their partnership agreement to better assist their respective clients as they work to expand their commercial fleet sustainability strategies globally. The partnership will focus on work with global OEMs working to market and sell increasingly lower emission and zero emission vehicle technologies and assist commercial fleet operators to accelerate their adoption of more sustainable technologies and lower carbon fuels. In addition, the joint team will help clients to navigate and secure funding from an increasingly energetic incentives landscape.

“Many of our large corporate clients are aggressively expanding their clean transportation footprint beyond North American borders, and so must we,” noted Erik Neandross, President of Clean Transportation Solutions, a division of TRC Companies.  “We have been working with M3E over the last few years and see great potential for this partnership to allow us to assist our clients to navigate the complex European landscape of policies, regulations, financial incentives and overall commercial fleet sustainability trends.  Having boots-on-the-ground in the E.U. will provide tremendous benefits to TRC’s growing list of global clients, and we likewise look forward to reciprocating by helping M3E’s European-based customers successfully navigate the growing North American market.”

TRC’s Clean Transportation Solutions team has managed the design and development of more clean fleet deployment projects than any other firm in North America, as well as facilitated development of the largest alternative fuel corridors in the world. Berlin-based M3E supports its clients across the dynamically growing eMobility market. M3E has established one of the largest eMobility funding databases for the European market, and supports companies and municipalities in implementing sustainable, cost-efficient mobility solutions and energy infrastructures.

At the forefront of this partnership are the companies’ mutual efforts to identify and secure clean transportation incentives. The U.S. incentives market, fueled by recent Inflation Reduction Act and carbon credit programs, is the centerpiece of TRC’s market intelligence, providing clients with industry-leading access to critical incentive information. These domestic efforts directly align with M3E’s expertise in the European market, where it supports individual clients, as well as companies and public institutions, with years of reliable expertise in the field of subsidies and covers all relevant areas on national, state, and local levels for them.

TRC and M3E’s trans-Atlantic partnership will be on display at the upcoming IAA Transportation 2024 trade show in Hannover, Germany. “The IAA event is the ideal opportunity to demonstrate international collaboration between our firms,” said Dr. Christian Milan, Founder and CEO of M3E. “The trade show’s history of success, outstanding attendance, and industry representation position it as an ideal global forum for transportation and commercial vehicles.” Both companies will display recent project successes and market-supporting tools, such as TRC’s Funding 360 Program and M3E’s newly released European Policy Report, which can be found at IAA Transportation 2024 in Hannover, Germany at Hall 12’s Booth E54.
