On Tuesday, August 18, the organizers of North America’s largest advanced transportation event, ACT Expo, are kicking off a brand-new online event experience to spotlight the trends, policies, and technologies driving the future of fleet transportation. ACT Virtual will feature 19 days of unique programming from August through November, delivering education and networking to fleets wherever they are digitally connected.
The organizers have announced several exciting highlights planned for the first few events of the series, taking place on August 18th, 20th, 25th & 27th!
Keynote Speaker
Join Volvo Trucks North America President Peter Voorhoeve on the ACT Virtual Main Stage on Tuesday, August 18, to hear how one of the world’s largest truck manufacturers is driving global transportation electrification and increasing uptime and safety through connected technologies.
Voorhoeve has led Volvo Trucks North America since 2018, working as part of the overall Volvo Group global effort to provide a full range of zero-emission medium- and heavy-duty trucks and buses to customers.
“Volvo Trucks is making major investments around the globe to support cities and our customers in developing a safer and more sustainable transportation sector,” said Peter Voorhoeve, president of Volvo Trucks North America. “ACT Virtual provides a great opportunity for our team to digitally connect with these stakeholders to help them navigate the evolving transportation ecosystem and source the latest advanced vehicle technologies.”
