Fleets for the Future (F4F) is a Department of Energy-funded national partnership between regional councils of governments, Clean Cities Coalitions, and industry experts led by the National Association of Regional Councils. The F4F team has been coordinating five regional procurement initiatives and one national procurement initiative designed to consolidate bulk orders of alternative fuel vehicles and infrastructure. Through these procurement initiatives, F4F will reduce incremental costs and disseminate best practices on application, usage, and procurement strategies to help fleet managers across the nation overcome barriers to AFV deployment.
