Thomas Lawson leads the California Natural Gas Vehicle Coalition, an advocacy organization with members including natural gas vehicle and engine manufacturers, utilities, fuel providers and fleet operators. He is a familiar face in the state capital, where he works with legislators, regulators and partners to promote use of NGVs and clean transportation generally. Previously, he was director of the Office of Legislative Affairs for former California Attorney General Kamala D. Harris, serving as a high-level policy advisor to Harris and her senior staff.
