Paul Ruiz is the Senior Policy Analyst with the Electrification Coalition. He provides intensive policy support for the EC and the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Smart Cities initiative in Columbus, Ohio. In his role at the EC, Paul analyzes data to observe and interpret trends in vehicle technology economics, oil and gas spending and trade, and energy industry dynamics. Before joining SAFE, he worked as a data coordinator and research assistant at the University of Delaware’s (UD) Center for Community Research and Service and served as a legislative fellow in the Delaware General Assembly. He holds a graduate degree from UD’s Biden School of Public Policy and an undergraduate degree in political science from the same institution.
