Metropolitan Energy Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit located in Kansas City, Missouri, and founded in 1983. It hosts the Kansas City Regional and Central Kansas Clean Cities coalitions with a focus on expanding renewable, clean, and sustainable fuel and fleets across Kansas and western Missouri. MEC also provides training, support, and education on energy efficiency in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
